Gujarat, with its surreal beauty and historical prosperity, charms every tourist to explore one of the most beautiful places in India. This 07 Nights and 08 Days itinerary take the tourists to explore the gems of this magnificent state in India.

The major destinations covered in this Gujarat tour package are Diu, Sasan Gir National Park, Junagarh, Dasada and Ahmadabad. The major highlights of the trip are fun activities on the major beaches of Diu, exploring wildlife at Gir National Park, visiting the Somnath Temple, coming across an ancient ancient place of Junagarh along with enjoying Jeep Safari in Rann of Kutch. The trip is an ideal tour to get drenched in the unsurpassed beauty of nature and affluent past of India.

Itinerary

Day 1 :Arrive in Diu

On reaching Diu, meet our representative who’ll escort you to one of our listed hotels. Check-in at the hotel.Later in the day move out on an excursion to the sightseeing of Diu.

Day 2 :Diu

On the second day of the tour, get involved in fun activities at the beach such as sun-bathing, book-reading, water sports activities, etc. In the afternoon post lunch, hit the road to Sasan Gir National Park, sole home of the Asiatic Lion. On arrival, board on a jeep safari during which you may spot animal species like Indian Leopards, Indian Palm Civets, Sloth bears, Jungle cats, Indian Cobras, Striped Hyenas, Golden Jackals, Ratels. Desert cats, and Indian Mongoose along with around 300 avifauna species. Later return back to Diu in the evening for an overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 3 :Diu - Sasangir

Today, we will start our day a bit early in the morning to visit the beach. Enjoy the mesmerizing sunrise at the beach. Later after breakfast, we will leave to drive to Sasangir National Park, which is located at a distance of around 150 km. Founded in 1965, this national park is the only home of the Asiatic Lions. On arrival, check-in at the Jungle Camp/Hotel. In the evening, you can participate in Lion Sanctuary (Jeep safari Optional). Enjoy an overnight stay in Sasangir.

Day 4 :Sasangir - Gondal

Today post-breakfast, we will leave to visit Gondal by road. En-route, we will halt at Junagarh, a former princely state. In Junagarh, we will visit the city’s popular attractions including the very popular Ashoka’s Rock Edicts-carrying Emperor Ashoka’s edicts carving on a huge granite boulder, Junagarh Museum-housing manuscripts, pre-historic stones, silver ware, textiles, woodcarvings, stone carvings and more. In the evening, we will arrive at the historic city of Gondal and enjoy a relaxing stay in the hotel.

Day 5 :Gondal - Wankaner

Post-breakfast in the morning, we will begin driving to Wankaner. En-route, we will visit the historic city of Rajkot, acknowledged for its important during the days of freedom fighting. In Rajkot, we will the Watson Museum-housing a vast collection of valuable of Rajkot as well as those of colonial times, Rashtriya Shala-another important historic monument and so on. Further, we will continue our drive to Wankaner. On arrival in Wankaner in the afternoon check in at the hotel. Later, enjoy a visit to the Palace Museum- erected in 1907 on a hill, this palace has now been turned into a museum that is home to collection of paintings, exotic furniture, portraits, royal silver ware etc. After exploring the Palace Museum, we will visit the local village. An overnight stay at the hotel in Wankaner.

Day 6 :Wankaner - Dasada

After breakfast in the morning, we will begin driving to Dasada, which is home to the very popular Little Rann of Kutch. It is a small desert that is salt marsh. Little Rann of Kutch is recognized for being home to good number of Asiatic Wild Ass that are found here. In the afternoon, we will visit the sanctuary to explore the exotic wildlife and the amazing scenery. This is followed by a visis to the nearby local villages to see the daily activities and lifestyle of the region’s local tribes. Stay overnight in Dasada.

Day 7 :Dasada

The day is fixed for a jeep safari in the white desert, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Little Rann of Kutch is famed for being a rich biosphere. During the safari, along with the Indian Wild Ass, you may also spot other animal species such as blue bull, Indian antelope, Indian rat snake, desert cats, cobra, jackals, hares, Indian fox, desert fox, hyenas, and so on. Take pleasure of an overnight stay in Dasada.

Day 8 :Dasada - Ahmedabad

In the morning after breakfast, get transferred to the Ahmedabad airport to board the flight for your onward journey.
