India Architecture Tour

Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be welcomed by our representative and then proceed for the first day of the Architecture Tour of Delhi. Embark on half-day tours to the National Museum of Delhi that houses one of the most exclusive collections of artifacts and antiquities.

Next morning get ready for Delhi sightseeing tour. Explore the Mughal buildings housed in the city on the 2nd day of the tour like the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid the Humayun’s Tomb and the beauty of Lutyen’s Delhi exhibited through the buildings housed especially in the New Delhi area. Visit Laxmi Narayan Temple, Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple and Rajghat – the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. Stay Overnight at hotel.

We will drive to Agra from Delhi that will be approx 3-4 hours drive. After breakfast visit famous attractions of Agra as Taj mahal, Agra fort, Mehtab bagh and Baby Taj. Adore the mughal architecture everywhere with intricate designs and interiors. In the evening enjoy the sunset view of Taj that changes its colours with orange rays of sun. Stay overnight in Agra.

Next morning, drive to Jaipur and check in hotel upon arrival. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri that is dedicated ruined city of Chisti saint. Evening time is free and rest overnight

Get ready for royal architectural tour of Jaipur starting with magnificent Amber fort and its architectural beauty. There is sheesh mahal and many chambers of kings and queens that will resemble you royal traditions and styles. Next visit City Palace, albert museum and Jantar mantar observatory. Stay overnight in hotel.

On 6th day of tour depart for Varanasi, ancient and sacred city of India with temples and Ganga ghats. Check in hotel and rest overnight.

Varanasi hosts one of the twelve jyotirlingas of India, Kashi Vishwanath Temple(dedicated to Lord Shiva). Visit Bharat Mata temple, BHU and Manas Mandir. By evening go for famous Ganga Arti at famous Ganga ghat as Assi ghat or Dhashamedh ghat. Enjoy delicious street food over there. Stay overnight at hotel.

Post breakfast depart for Khajuraho. Upon arrival check in hotel and rest overnight.

On the 9th day of the tour, proceed to Khajuraho to witness the marvelous sculptures made from stones. After visiting Chandela dynasty temples you will get awestruck by views of the western and eastern group of temples and their inquisite carvings. The Nagara style of architecture is unique and one of its kinds in the country. Stay Overnight at hotel in Khajuraho.

Depart for Orchha and visit famous attractions as Bundelkhand style of architecture. Visit Raj mahal, Jehangir mahal, Laxminarayn temple and chatris(cenotaphs).

Depart for Mumbai from Orchha. Upon arrival check in hotel at Mumbai.

Depart for Aurangabad which is approx 7-8 hours drive. You can also book flight tickets. Start your Aurangabad architecture guide trip with visit to heritages site of Ellora caves in afternoon. These caves showcase a strong spiritual connection with 5 caves dedicated to Jainism, 12 caves to Buddhism and 17 to Hinduism. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Return back to Mumbai after sightseeing in Aurangabad.

Day 15th of tour will be most joyful with Mumbai Darshan. Post breakfast start sightseeing tour of Mumbai. Ride up to Elephanta Caves on a motor launch from the Gateway of India. These rock cut caves have been declared a world heritage and are located on an island in the Arabian Sea. Later in the evening stroll to Mahalaxmi Temple, Prince of Wales Museum and the Hanging Gardens, The Victoria Terminus. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Enjoy the charm of Mumbai city with vigorous shopping and leisure activities. In evening visit Marine drive, Juhu beach and enjoy nightlife of Mumbai.

Depart for your home/onward destination.
